Data Quality Analyst - Milton Keynes - Up to £33k I am currently working with a internationally renowned organisation that are looking to expand within their global supply chain management team. My client have positioned themselves as industry leaders within their relative field and are fast becoming one of the most exciting employers in the UK. The title of this role is a Data Quality Analyst. This is a salaried position which is paying up to £33,000 with some great benefits. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to work flexible working hours which can see you starting from as early as 6:30am allowing employees the flexibility and luxury of easy commute into work! On top of that, after a short time of service there, you will be given the amazing opportunity to attain shares within this giant!!!! What you'll be doing Support data issue investigations, engaging with relevant teams to conduct root cause analysis, monitor and report data issues in order to improve data quality across the organisationIdentify appropriate data analysis methods to ensure data issues are investigated fully in order to profile, document and understand core data, relationships and data flowsResearch and gain in-depth understanding of data quality activities and best practiceBuild and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues to ensure a high level of data quality awarenessUndertake analysis of data within multiple systems to develop a base-line and data quality KPIsMaintain the data issue log and documentationAssist with on-going implementation of data governance policies, including hands-on data validation and issue resolution for strategic system harmonization project. What we are looking for Education to degree level in fields such as analytics or business administration with 1 to 3 years work experience is a must together with the ability to apply this knowledge practically to solving complex business problemsProven experience of data-profiling and data quality analysisAbility to understand business requirements and translate these into technical deliverablesProven experience in data management, stewarding, coupled with a passion to drive consistency and value from data assetsStrong technical acumen and attention to detail; understands databases and able to use SQL to run queries, etc.Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to work well with data to assess situations, conduct root cause analysis and derive recommendationsSelf-reliant, diligent, numerate, computer literate with excellent analytical skillsAbility to identify gaps and alternative approaches to meet requirementsStrong team player who enjoys working in a passionate team environment and who can work collaboratively with the team and with clientsAbility to handle multiple projects, timelines and challenging situations self-sufficientlyApplicant must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom This is a great opportunity for SQL professionals to join a leading organisation that can provide further exposure to the inner workings of a internationally recognised company & SQL world.
