Currently seeking an ICT Systems Engineer for an initial 9 months contract to be based in Basel - Switzerland for our leading banking client.The candidate is expected to have proven in-depth knowledge and experience with Windows server technologies.At least 5 years building, configuring and maintaining Windows Sever Operating systems.Windows server technologies including Active Directory, DNS, IIS and File System Security.Experience with 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting of technical issuesIn-depth experience with Designing, Deploying, Configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server infrastructures (MSSQL, Analysis Services and Reporting Services) is essentialStrong understanding of SQL server infrastructure best practicesGood Understanding of clustering technologies and storage options for databasesExperience planning, testing, implementing and managing Group Policies for large complex environments.Knowledge of Windows security features and experience with administering Windows firewall.PowerShell scripting.Understanding of how certificates are used in an enterpriseKnowledge of working with VMware as a hypervisor for virtual machine administrationKnowledge of Cloud based technologies (MS Azure) is desirableAt least 2 years' experience with an enterprise backup solutionIf interested please do apply with updated CV, alternatively email me on for a quicker response.Michael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
