Insight Data Analyst: SAS, Python, R, SQL , Retail, Customer Data, Customer Insight Insight Data Analyst: SAS, Python, R, SQL , Retail, Customer Data, Customer Insight The work location is in LONDON and is a 6 Months contract. Pay rate is between £450 - £550 per day. The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product. Key skills Good leadership, people and management skillsDemonstrate an analytical 'curiosity' through innovative, data driven insights on business questions. Appetite and proven ability to explore business impact and position analysis to address commercial questions.Degree level or higher in numerate subject is preferred e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research or Computer ScienceExperience and training of using both simple and complex statistical and data science techniques (e.g. forecasting, regression, clustering etc)Confident user of databases and statistical / data analytics software e.g. SAS, R, Python, SPSS, SQL etc. (SAS, Python or R preferred), SQL is requiredA self-starter that is curious and keen to learn new approaches and techniques as well as demonstrate innovation in approach. A keen sharer of informationClear communication and stakeholder management skills are essential as the role will require translating analysis into actionable and impactful insightIdeally have experience in retail environment with customer data Key accountabilities and measuresIdentify opportunities: to lead by using data and analytics to address customer priorities. Look for ways to create opportunities and to scope improvements (eg in the development of automated insight tools and regular actionable insight packs)Design analytical solutions: create and guide the business through producing accurate and actionable insight which develops and actions our customer growth strategy. You will design and plan to undertake a wide range of analytical techniques in what is a very varied and challenging role. Set clear insight plans that deliver on wider business strategy.Lead and deliver high impact analysis: you'll be leading people and running analytical projects end-to-end. From engaging with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements, writing briefs, scoping out requirements, planning to performing analysis. You will be working closely with Analysts, Data Scientists, Researchers and Insight Business Partners to give the business a holistic view of the client.Communicate results and drive impact: you will take a major role in packaging up and presenting the story to stakeholders and driving impact. Share analytical results in a commercial and compelling manner, with ability to visualise insights with impactLearn and help share knowledge to grow capability of the team: ensuring that learnings and shared within the team and the business to drive a data driven culture. Actively participate in trainings, documentation of learnings and data/analytics sharing sessions.
