Quantity Surveyor

A Civil Engineering Main Contractor are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Leatherhead.

The company have been established for over 30 years and work on Highways, Civils, Rail and Environmental projects.

The Quantity Surveyor will be based in Leatherhead where the company has a lot of civil engineering works on highways projects for the Surrey Highways framework.

Due to this, the successful Quantity Surveyor will need to have civil engineering experience on highways projects.

Projects range from £10k - £8m and the Quantity Surveyor will need NEC contract experience.

Examples of work include Drainage, Earthworks, Pavements, Kerbing, Signage, Communications & CCTV, Lighting, Structure, Bridges, Barriers.

Ideally the successful Quantity Surveyor will have 5+ years experience and this role would suit a Quantity Surveyor looking for a change or perhaps an experienced Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking to step up.

Quantity Surveyor Duties

-Raise contractual notifications as well as pricing changes to the contract

-Deal with applications for payment and invoices

-Prepare monthly cost/value reconciliations

-Procurement - send out enquiries to the supply chain and raise subcontracts

-Cashflow forecasting and budgets

-Final accounts

Quantity Surveyor Requirements

-NEC contract experience

-Highways experience

-Degree qualified (Ideally)

-5+ years experience

-UK Driving Licence

Quantity Surveyor Remuneration

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
