3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer - £45,000

3rd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer to work on their Service Desk and Projects department and support customers' IT environment across a number of industry sectors, including finance, property & investment management, oil & gas, marketing research, professional services and other allied industries. 3rd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer who will be a single point of contact for our customers, logging and managing all calls, emails and tickets within SLA whilst providing strategic guidance to clients regarding technology and IT infrastructure and enabling major business processes through enhancements to IT.Designing, planning, implementing and ongoing support of existing and emerging technologies.Meeting and working with clients to define the scope of assigned projects.Defining software, hardware and network requirementsTravelling to customers' sites and analysing IT requirements.Undertaking technical implementation activities, either stand-alone for small projects or as part of a team for larger projects, either on client sites or remotely from the officeActing as the main point of contact with clients on designated projects to manage expectations, providing regular project reporting and to support clients in the delivery of their own responsibilities within the projectsTesting, installing and monitoring new systems.Providing support for end-usersSalary up to £45,000 based on skills and experience.
