Job Title: Research and Development Administrator

Job Specification:
Our client has sales, distribution and manufacturing sites worldwide supported by centre of excellence for Research and Development (RandD) in Luton, UK for the following types of products: 
 Volumetric water metersWoltmann type bulk water metersJet water meters (Single and Multi-jet)Static water metersElectronic devicesOur client need's a hardworking individual to provide maternity cover for a period of 6 to 12 months. The key task is to support the administrative activities of clients water metering group.
The role is based in Luton, UK reporting in to Engineering (RandD) Control manager.
 
Main functions:
 CommunicationsPreparation and modification of design documentation including Bills of Materials (BOMs)Process Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs)Key skills: 
 
Good attention to detailCreation of Part Numbers, Bills of Materials (BOM) in SAPCarries out changes to BOMs, specification sheets etc. supported by an RandD engineer where appropriateProcess new variant coding requestsMaintenance of Configurator tables and characteristicsRaise purchase order requests and capital requisitionsUpdate and maintain various trackers and databasesChase purchase orders and capital requisitions through the system where requiredMaintain good housekeeping and documentation storage locationsQualification / Knowledge 
 
Organised, thorough with good communication skillsAble to work with and in multi-regional teamsSAP competentGood level of computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)Self-starter, quick learner and flexibleUrgent requirement, Send cv for immediate response.
