IT Support Analyst

One of our ISP West Midlands based clients is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join their expanding IT Support team. You will provide technical support to users for any support issues which have been passed through the Technical Service team.

IT Support Analyst duties will include, but not limited to:

*You will provide support via both telephone and email for all solutions services, offering advice and guidance as required, and ensuring all issues are correctly logged

*Undertaking basic data centre management duties - providing remote assistance for customers equipment, scheduling customer visits into the data centres and scheduling maintenance schedules with customers

*Providing 2nd line VOIP support to the 1st line team/other departments

*Undertaking basic firewall management

*Undertaking and co-ordinating major incidents in the event of a network incident

*Contacting customers ensuring a high level of customer service is being provided, ensuring that they are aware of any potential faults/planned engineering and risks to their service

*Supporting and mentoring members of the 1st line team, providing training and documentation where necessary

As the IT Support Analyst you will be required to posses:

*Previous experience working within a Service Desk environment

*Knowledge of networking principles

*Good knowledge of technology/telecoms industry

*Previous experience providing support to both internal and external members on a range of IT issues
