Experis IT are currently recruiting for a MI & Analytics Manager to join one of our key clients based in Solihull. They are a FTSE 250 company who provider public services on a global scale with 50,000 employees worldwide. It's a very exciting time for the company's business intelligence and reporting function as we are looking to build and developer whole new team within the business from Manager through to analyst.

This is the key role for day-to-day management and leadership of the Standard Service. It is responsible for the development and ongoing management of capability delivery, service performance and cost management of the service (total and unit costs). They are responsible for the development, agreement and publication of a roadmap for the service to ensure the service meets current and future business competitive needs.

This role encompasses numerous activities from tactical to statistical roles and acts as a cross-functional link; bridging gaps within the business and IT between various functions and departments, most prominently between Operations, Solutions and Contract teams.

Responsibilities Determines business needs and performance expectations by working with the IT Business Partners, the business and specifying the external research needed to obtain market information.Provides source data for Standard service communications by defining Service Catalogue entries, communications plan and adoption information.Brings new services into live by analyzing proposed requirements and developing roadmaps with associated delivery programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with Operations and partners/3rd parties.Monitors Standard Service achievement of Service level targets, working with the Standard Service Service Lead, Operational Teams and Service Management to understand issues, resolve problems and improve performance.Plus many more

Technical SkillSAP BI Applications - Business warehouse & Business Objects Microsoft BI Products

The Standard Service manager will have a detailed knowledge of the MI & Analytics market with particular focus on Enterprise Information management, data science tooling and self-service reporting tools, including but not limited to Data Warehousing (SAP BW), SAP BPC tools, SAP Business Objects, Microsoft PowerBi, Qlikview and other reporting platforms. My client is currently heavily linked to SAP and Microsoft information management and reporting platforms and experience with these is essential.
