2nd Line Support Analyst




One of our ISP West Midlands based clients is seeking a 2nd Line Support Analyst to join their expanding IT Support team. You will provide support to users for any support issues which have been escalated from the 1st line support team. You will also be responsible for implementing infrastructure and supporting projects as and when required to meet the business needs.


2nd Line Support Analyst duties will include, but not limited to:
*Providing 2nd line support to client IT issues
*Take ownership of escalated 1st Line support tickets
*Diagnosing tickets, and obtaining all relevant and necessary information to resolve the issue
*Resolving customer issues within the agreed service level guidelines, escalating issues where appropriate
*Deployment of Microsoft, Anti Virus updates and patches
*Administration of Active Directory users, group policy, monitoring of domain health and maintenance of records


As the 2nd Line Support Analyst you will be required to possess:
*Previous experience working within a 2nd Line IT Support environment
*Experience with network or desktop support
*Previous experience with the following technologies would be beneficial: Windows 7,8,10 / Office 2013 / Windows environment administration (Server 2012/2016, Hyper-V) / Anti Virus Software / Firewalls
*A high level of Active Directory administration experience
*Previous experience with asset management would be advantageous
