IT Network Engineer (3^rd line support) required for a leading client in ManchesterIT Network Engineer (3^rd line support) will advise on IT network configuration for the UK multi-site organisation. Ensure effective provision, maintenance and upgrade of IT network systems in support of the UK organisation. Support first line (level 1) and second line (level 2) staff in user IT support activitiesJob Role:

'€¢Provide a high level of service in response to the IT-related demands of other functions within the organisation'€¢Communicate with and demonstrate effective controls to customers (internal and external) and regulatory visitors or assessors. To provide competent advice upon IT activities'€¢Ensure Effective communication of IT technical activities to relevant stakeholders'€¢Support the UKIT Manager in monthly reporting of IT related issues including effective feedback of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), achievements and issues

Essential skills needed

'€¢BTEC or equivalent in Computer studies, IT Networking or equivalent'€¢MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator)'€¢High level of numeracy and literacy'€¢Hyper-V / VMware certified professional'€¢Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist - SQL Server 2012+, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance'€¢Windows AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP'€¢Microsoft exchange 2010+

Desireable

'€¢Experience of setting up and maintaining multi-site communications systems'€¢CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator)'€¢Systems Security Certified Practitioner - SSCP'€¢ISO27001 Auditor'€¢Microsoft MCP, MCA'€¢Microsoft Office 365
