A leading online investment platform, with assets under administration of over £30 billion, are looking for an Information Security Engineer to join the IT Risk and Security department. Previous exposure working within a Security environment is not essential, as they are keen to develop skills.
As an Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Proactive monitoring, identification and mitigation of security vulnerabilitiesMonitoring and investigating security alertsWeb and email gateway management to help deploy security accessAssist in the assessment for assessing, planning, coordinating system patching andSkills Required
Background as an Information Security EngineerStrong understanding of Security Information Event Management (SIEM) technologies (ArcSight, LogRhythm etc)Understanding of network protocols, architecture and Information Security Frameworks e.g. ISO 27001Knowledge of networking products (Fortinet or equivalent)Understanding of end point security products, anti-virus and anti-malware solutionsThis role is being looked after by Robyn Clarke @ Evolution Recruitment Solutions.
