A world leading supplier of Advanced Process Modelling technology and related model-based engineering and innovation services to the process industries.

The role will suite someone from a software development background in C++ with a strong background mathematics.

In your role you will:
 Develop and maintain the C++ based platform. You will work over the complete software life-cycle from requirements analysis through GUI and OO design, implementation and support.Design and implement new functionality within the kernel and solvers components of the platform and influence the future architecture of these components.Work with in-house and external expert users to improve the general robustness, performance, usability and workflows of these components.Resolve critical bug fixes quickly.Provide technical support to internal and external customers.Be a true software craftsman, aiming at long-term testable and maintainable solutions to challenging problems.Be product-minded and commercially focused, you can collaborate closely with other developers, QA, our Consultant Engineers and understand client requirements.You have these skills:
 C++ programming, ideally including Standard Template Library (STL)Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills with a good understanding and practical knowledge of using design patternsPassion for writing clean, reusable, maintainable and flexible production codeA Master's degree or PhD in mathematics.Outstanding communication skills, a desire to learn and strong problem solving skills.Ability to work independently and as a team member.For interviews please send your CV to [email protected] along with your salary expectations and a brief synopsis of your current work situation.
