Sheffield Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust's Informatics Directorate Network Team looking for the right candidate to expand the team in order to provide the level of support required for an organisation of our size and complexity as we will playing a key role in the delivery of a highly technical portfolio of modernisation projects  across our network infrastructure including:- service security core network service (LAN/WAN) resilience of our infrastructure, systems and application services service alerting and monitoring data centre environments backup and recovery multi-disciplinary team collaboration. In this post, you will primarily be responsible for the design and delivery of network services and implementation. Sheffield Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust (STH) is one of the UK's largest and most successful Foundation Trusts. Our published Information and Technology Strategy set out our intent to modernise of the core infrastructure to ensure that STH has a resilient and safe operating platform. The Informatics Directorate provides a full information, communication, and technology service that are aligned to the STH corporate strategy from ward to Board level, ensuring Trust wide compliance with data governance legislation and NHS standards. The Directorate plays a key role in leading and supporting technological modernisation across the organisation, driving changes that will improve performance and efficiency in all areas of clinical and corporate service delivery across the Trust. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Network Engineer.  The candidate will be a highly motivated team player who enjoys working in a complex, fast moving, and challenging environment.
