Technical (Application) Support Glasgow £25,000 -£30,000 Are you interested in working with a wide range of Microsoft Infrastructure products? Great. Are you interested in working with a wide range of Microsoft Infrastructure Products AND a bespoke Software application? Even Better.If that wasn't enough for you, I'll even throw in the fact that you'll be working with a wide range of Infrastructure products, you'll be supporting customers using a bespoke software application and you'll be doing it all whilst training to progress into a Senior Support Engineer or Professional Services Consultant. I'm working with a leading Technology firm in the heart of Glasgow who's Software is used Globally, from the streets of Scotland, to the Dunes of Dubai, to the Skyscrapers of San Francisco. You will play a pivotal part in making sure that users feel comfortable with the Software, but also that their application runs smoothly and achieves its overall purpose.

From Day one you will be guided and trained in the product, so no-one is expecting you to jump straight in the deep end alone. Technologies you should be comfortable working with; Windows Server 2012+

Windows Desktop 7,8 and ideally 10.

Microsoft SQL Server 2012+

VMware / Hyper-V

ServiceNow, TeamViewer and/or any remote support technologiesAny or all experience with Telephony systems; Avaya, Cisco etc is highly beneficial.

Exposure to Azure, Oracle or any Private Cloud would also be great but not essential. As this is a truly global role - applicants should be aware that there will be shift patterns that cover the US market; i.e. 8.30am-4.30pm, 9am - 5pm, 8pm - 4am on a rota basis.
