Migration Infrastructure Project Manager - PRINCE2, PMP, MS Project Plans, RAID Management, Change Control, Reporting, financial management This role requires SC clearance, you must be eligible and willing to undergo the SC process in order to obtain the role.We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team of consultants at Experis. Working on-site with one of our clients you will be involved in Hosting & Application Support services for a government client based in London that involves the service take on of legacy services from two key incumbents, the build out of two new Data Centres and the migration and upgrade of 250 applications/2500 servers into a transformed FMO service.Scope of role: Reporting into the Migration Lead as part of the wider Implementation and Migration Team, working with the DC Build PM/Technical Architect and the Migration PM/ Technical Architect to define, procure and implement the infrastructure needed to support the migration of 250 applications/2500 servers from 5 legacy DC's into 2 DC's (ACP and CHS). Infrastructure elements to include migration tooling (platespin, RPA) migration circuits and migration hardware (swing kit).Additionally, as we exit the legacy DC's the decommissioning and disposal/redeployment of in-scope assets working with the migration team and a 3rd Party to successfully exit the legacy DC's.Essential skills/experience:Proven Project management experience (PRINCE2/PMP) managing teams to MS Project Plans, RAID Management, Change Control, Reporting and financial management of assigned budgetLeadership and prioritisation of technical resourcesExcellent communication skills both within the team, suppliers and client/incumbent suppliersExperience of DC builds and MigrationsIT Infrastructure knowledge (specifically networks)Details:Location: London / WestminsterDuration: permanent (consultancy basis)Salary: £55,000 - £60,000Benefits:Contributory pension schemeEnhanced Life Insurance CoverEmployee Assistance ProgramEnhanced Accident Insurance22 days holiday + bank holidaysSick pay Please apply by submitting your CV.Experis Consultancy is a Global entity with a well-established team with over 1000 consultants on assignment across 20 clients globally.
