Research Engineer / Software Developer (C++ Python R&D Algorithm SLAM). Would you like to work on complex geo-location software for a successful start-up where you can learn and develop your skills within a supportive, technology driven environment with flexible working conditions?

Scale-up technology business is seeking a highly technical Research Engineer with a strong academic / research background. You will design and develop an innovative Cloud (AWS) based solution that allows the tracking of equipment and personnel for large scale organisations (e.g. the NHS). The product delivers efficiencies in time management and can make a critical difference.

As a Research Engineer your role will focus on algorithm development. You'll be responsible for making sense of all the data pulled from the main product / mobile devices using techniques such as SLAM algorithms.

You'll be based in Central Oxford, close to main line station within an R&D environment with casual dress code and a good work / life balance.

Requirements:

*Excellent record of academic achievement, minimum 2.1 at BSc likely to have gone on to study at MSc / PhD level

*Good C++ and Python development skills (role will be a 50/50 split)

*Familiar with SLAM algorithmic development

*Collaborative team member with good communication skills
