Principal Power Electronics Engineer - IGBT, Bipolar, SiC
Based in Birmingham an exciting role has become available for a Principal Power Electronics Design Engineer to lead a team of engineers focused on the design of IGBT's, Bipolar transistors and SiC products. This is a pioneering role where you will focus also on the design of new semiconductor products for a variety of high-power applications.
The responsibilities of the Principal Power Electronics Engineer include:
-The management of all conception, scheming design of automotive power electronics products and to evaluate the requirements of new products.
-Organise research into new integrated technology.
-Lead the design team on future semiconductor development.
-Define BOM lists.
The successful candidate will have a degree in electrical or electronics engineering with a proven background in the following:
-Research and development into IGBT's, Bipolar Transistors and SiC module design.
-Leading a team.
-Knowledge of semiconductor devices.
