Cyber Resilience Manager

up to £90k base + Extensive Benefits + Generous Bonus

Home-Based with UK-Wide Travel

As a preferred recruitment partner to this well-established global financial services organisation we have been instructed to assist with the hire of a Cyber Resilience Manager to provide an innovative mind and challenge existing set-ups, suggesting alternative and industry-leading approaches to Cyber Security Preparedness, Readiness and Prevention.

This is a brand-new, greenfield role, created to encourage a new level of preparedness, prevention and readiness for cyber-attacks. This role is predominately going to look at how preparation, readiness and preventative measures can stop attacks taking place. You'll be expected to learn from the mistakes of other organisations and ensure incidents of a similar nature are not given the chance to occur.

We are looking for an innovative and determined individual who thrives to achieve the best in Cyber Security. This role reports into the Head of Cyber Security, who has confirmed this position can be home-based but will require travel to locations including London, Southampton, Newcastle and the Isle of Man.

Candidates should have experience in an appropriate role within large scale organisations.

Essential Skills / Experience

-Designing and Running Cyber Readiness Workshops

-Threat and Vulnerability Management Services

-Awareness of Information Security Trends, Threat Actors, TTPs, Attack Vectors

-Incident Management (Implementing, Monitoring, Improving)

-Root Cause Analysis for Major Cyber Security Incidents

-Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management

-Information / Cyber Security Risk Management Frameworks

-Industry Standard Control Suites (ISO27000, NiST, etc.)

-Experience of the above within a Financial Services environment

Desirable Skills / Experience

-Certified in GCTI (GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence) or GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler)

The ideal candidate may come from a background including SOC, Risk Advisory, and Consultancy. Candidates who have worked for the 'Big 4' will have an advantage.
