As a an IT Asset and Procurement Manager you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills by managing all the technical assets of the business including inventory analysis, compliance and procurement with regards to all hardware, software and technology policy components.
*Ensuring inventory assets are maintained and all procurement procedures are followed.
*Maintaining and delivering obsolescence plans whilst conducting gap analysis.
*Making sure the asset managing adheres to the compliance to the company's procedures.
*Ensuring supplier contracts and renewals are maintained.
*Delivering and managing of the asset management framework and policy.
2)Software Asset Management
*To give the company information and good visibility of the software portfolio, budgets and editor maintenance contracts.
*Whilst adhering to company policy, lead all software asset management delivery in connection with procurement.
*To continually monitor and analyse the budget of licences held by PF UK whilst optimising the budget.
*Managing the hardware and software maintenance commitments with the editors and publishers for business requirements.
*To deliver and produce obsolescence gap analysis and road maps by working with architecture and application development teams whilst also being responsible for the delivery of obsolescence framework.
*Communicate with suppliers and vendors in order to identify potential technical debt and obsolescence.
*The facilitation of RFPs/RFIs/ Tender processes of services and assets.
*Communicating with project and operational teams to ensure that all procurement policies are being adhered to.
*Relationship building with potential partners for the purpose of cost efficiency's and pricing.
*Providing reports on KPIs and KRIs.
Skills and Experience Required:
*A - Level educated.
*ITIL Foundation, project management PRINCE, Supply chain management/procurement certification (Desirable)
*Budget planning, forecasting experience and experience in producing resourcing and forecasting plans.
*Managing contracts and suppliers
*Experience with global laws/regulations.
*Self motivated & good communicator
*Previous banking or financial services experience. (Desirable)
Starting salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience plus a comprehensive company benefits package + company car OR car allowance!
