My client is looking for engineers who can analyse, define and create technical publications to military specifications. The successful applicant will define the format and structure to be used in the generation of paper and electronic technical publications and provisioning documentation to meet customer needs.

The role is to assist in the analysis, preparation and delivery of Supportability Engineering activities with the main focus being in Technical Publications. This is to support a variety of projects within the company product portfolio.

Skills, qualifications & knowledge

An engineering background with a solid understanding of system design architecture. Must be able to demonstrate evidence of working at a professional standard, ideally with customer interaction:Technical publication specification with broad understanding of the tools and processes used:AESP specificationS1000D specificationNaval Book of ReferenceElectronic Technical Publications

Desirable (Although similar qualifications / experience will be equally important and considered)

City & Guilds 6502 Certificate in Education and Training (Level 3) desirable.Knowledge of Defence System Approach to Training (DSAT) processesILS methodology knowledge (Def Stan 00-600, Defence Logistics Framework, Def Stan 00-40, Def Stan 00-42Typically experienced in more than one aspect of supportability
