Cloud Operations Specialist - Stoke on Trent - £35,000Who they are:My client is looking for two Cloud operations specialists to join a fast paced complex environment. They operate in favour of the people. They offer an in depth knowledge surrounding development of solutions that are designed to aid with inefficiencies out of people - orientated processes. This in line with improving service quality.

What you will do and what you need
* Managing complex multi-tier enterprise infrastructure environments.
* A good understanding of platform and application automated deployment technologies.
* Knowledge of software and infrastructureExperience with cloud orchestration technologies such as AWS and VSphere.
* Knowledge of building systems in an auto scaling environment including Self-Healing systems.
* A Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Windows Server 2016Write and review concise and comprehensive technical documentation.
* The ability to solve problems and provide creative solutions.
* Work as part of a team to deliver high quality solutions.
* Capable of working in a high-pressure environment.
* Knowledge of networking standards, connectivity & VPN connections.
* Good database knowledge and SQL skills in relation to performance tuning (MS SQL PostgreSQL & MongoDB).
* Monitoring and analytical tools such as Splunk.
* In-depth configuration management, automation and scripting skills including use of a scripting language such as Ruby and/or PowerShell.
