Role: Applications Test Engineer SMELocation: PortsmouthDuration: Contract until 31st March 2020Rate: Negotiable daily rateSecurity Clearance: SC Clearance Applications test SME - Experience in the test, evaluation and verification of applications and the conduct of user based testing and acceptance. Responsible for: Identifying Test & Acceptance criteria from Engineering design documentation (LLDs etc.) for specialist functional area.Developing New/Modified NSoIT(D) Test Scripts for specialist functional area.Test Case design and implementationTest script rehearsal and formal execution in support of the MEP NSoIT(D) Test Plan.Static analysis and peer reviews for engineering and test artefactsIdentifying materiel required to support specialist functional area of testing (Test Data, SME support etc.)Test data presentation, collation, and deliveryEvidence collection and IM for associated failures and observationWeekly Status Reporting.Supporting:QEC/MEP Test Script Triage Process.Engagement with Engineering team at weekly meetings.SME Test & Acceptance workshops (as directed by the Test manager)Reviewing Engineering Testing Activities/Providing independent oversight of specialist functional area.User Demonstrations/Trials as Apps/Non-Core Service SME.MEP IT&T Test and Acceptance Evidence Collection.
