Avionic Repair Technicians - Cheltenham - 10 Months ( May Be Scope To Go Permanent )My client is looking for a number of Avionic Repair Technicians for a 10 month initial assignment based in Cheltenham, the role will be full time on site and offers a competitive rate. The client is a large organisation within the aerospace industry.Role Purpose:Fault find to component level and repair, as required.Use of manual and automated test equipment.Supporting engineering / quality investigations and project work as and when required.Ability to follow detailed instructions and read complex electronic digital/analogue circuit diagrams.Raise all relevant paperwork to complete the task, ensuring traceability and Regulatory compliance is maintained throughout the repair process.Key Capabilities and Knowledge Strong understanding of business processesStrong Business Analysis knowledge including Business Process Modelling and Business Case preparation.Good technical understanding of the application development lifecycle.Excellent technical investigative and analytical skillsGood capability to apply requirements engineering techniques.Ability to analyse problems and provide clear recommendationsAble to collaborate with clients inside and outside the business, and have a strong desire to excel.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to both technical and non-technical audienceAble to work independently as well as be a team player and to manage own workloadAble to multi-task and prioritise to ensure project deadlines are met whilst resolving critical BAU issues Experience and Qualifications:Previous experience of fault diagnosis and testing of electronic components essential;The ability to demonstrate that they are able to utilize detailed Manuals, drawings and other documentation to aid this requirement.Minimum of ONC or time served experience apprentice or similar level of knowledge and experience.Must be PC literate.Team player who is inclusive in their approach.Good manual dexterity.High level of attention to detail.Good verbal communication skills.Able to work to own initiative.Ability to multi-task and deal with a varied work load.Outstanding integrity.
