Java Implementation Engineer - London - Up to £64kpa DOE

My client, a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions are currently looking to expand their team with a Java Implementation Engineer

As the Java Implementation Engineer, you will be working in a team responsible for the complete implementation of their Financial Technology Solution; which will include installation, configuration, deployment, integration, high level design, release preparation and test support.

The responsibilities will include but not limited to are:

*Work closely with the client, development and release teams to build and configure the financial technology solution to meet their client's needs

*work with the DevOps team to guarantee the quality of the solution delivered.

*Support the continuous integration and automated testing processes

*Working with Business Analysts, you advise the client during their test phases and work with the Development team to analyse and fix issues.

To be successful in the role you will have:

*3+ years' experience in a hands-on Java development role; can analyse existing Java code

*2+ years' experience in core Java; Multi-threading, Transaction Management, EJB's, WebServices, JMS/MQ

*2+ years' experience in Application Deployment with Application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss) and scripted tools (ant, maven) and IDE's (Eclipse, IntelliJ)

Desirable skills:

*1+ years Oracle or other RDBMS experience

*1+ years' experience in a client facing/implementation role
