* successful migration of data from the old SRS and associated systems to the new SRS
* Advise on the data sizing requirements for the new SRS and provide recommendations on minimising size requirements.
* You will assist the business leads in successful delivery of their workstreams
You will have degree or equivalent experience in relevant discipline and proven work experience as an Information/Data Architect, Data Analyst or similar role. You will have extensive experience (as practitioner and/or project manager) in working on Data projects or initiatives (involving Integration, Data Migration and testing) in a University or similar environment, with an in-depth understanding of database structure principles. You will hold knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques and be familiar with modern database and information system techniques.
You will be familiar with data integration technologies, such as BizTalk 2013, Azure Service Bus, as well as SQL Server and possibly other data visualization tools (e.g. SAS, Talend, SQL Server, Tableau, D3.js and R). You will be proficient in SSIS and T-SQL. You will also be familiar with DPA and GDPR requirements within this role.
You will hold experience working with cross disciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes, hold excellent relationship building skills and confidently liaise with senior leaders, even in formal settings. You will be resilient and persistent, with a problem-solving attitude, attention to detail and a collaborative, collegial attitude in facilitating workshops and working groups to engage others in decision making. This will require a proficiency in communicating technical matters clearly to non-technical people and the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in both oral and written form.
