ServiceDesk Analyst Role

Location - Cambridge

Rate - £13 an hour

Duration - 6 months initially

IR35 - Inside (Must Use An Umbrella Company)

Specialist knowledge & skills -

Extensive experience of working with PC based software.

Ideally Knowledge of our clients HR Information Systems (largely based on Midland iTrent) in the areas of navigation, user profile administration and report generation.

Excellent communications and people skills.

Possess excellent communication skills in a variety of situations both face to face, written and on the telephone.

Good listening skills, problem solving and the ability to handle multiple projects/customers at once.

Experience of working on an IT service desk and/or of working with a HR or payroll system.

Responsibilities -

Responsible for all aspects of handling a Service Desk call.

Responsible for receiving calls, resolving calls and escalating to other team members and External Service Desks where applicable.

Responsible for recording details of user problems on call logging system, together with description of how the problem was resolved or attempted to be resolved.

Responsible for the monitoring of all open calls and progress chasing where necessary.
