Role: Solutions Architect Location: ManchesterRate: £500 - £600 per day Ideal start date: 5th June (Could wait until 24th June) Length of contract: 6 months (Likely to extend) SummaryMy client, a market leading company in central Manchester are looking for a Solutions Architect to work across multiple projects.These projects are in the early stages so there is a lot of work to do. There are new projects coming in too including a big data migration piece.About youA successful Solutions Architect would be involved from the start and be able to with some of the projects, see them through to delivery. With this in mind a background in software development (Java or Python) would be good to have as you may need to be more hands on further down the line.This would be an excellent fit for you if you have experience with mainstream relational databases and are used to handling and integrating large data sets.Any experience of integrating new 3rd party systems into existing complex systems will be a real benefit here.An ideal candidate will have a pragmatic approach to solving architectural and technical problems and are flexible, motivated and self-organised.
