Business Designer/Architect - Data (x2 roles)

Company: Lloyds Banking Group

Salary: £65,000 to £89,000 base salary, plus significant annual personal bonus, car allowance, 13% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays. We also offer flexible working hours, agile working practices and home working opportunities at least 1 day per week.

Are you a Business Designer with a real passion for data? Data is the backbone of all of our digital propositions, and receives >£100m investment annually making it an exciting place to work where you can make a significant difference. Being a Business Designer will give you opportunity to be a leader within a lab, or a short-term design sprint with a mandate to frame and solve significant business problems that relate to data.

Your job will be to work with a complex group of stakeholders to understand what the business needs, propose solutions and roadmaps that address those needs, and persuade people to collectively sign up to a vision of how we can evolve our products. Having established high level patterns and roadmaps, you will govern and support the real world decisions where we need to make compromises against the design, partnering with our delivery teams to help them realise value for the business as quickly as possible while protecting the integrity of the overall design.

What do I need to do this job?

We welcome people from a range of role backgrounds but do need to see the following as a minimum for consideration: Background in business design (1), a good understanding of data (2), business architecture knowledge (3) and excellent interpersonal skills (4).

Ideally if you have done this within a large and complex company that would be great as Lloyds is very large and very complex! We have also adopted Agile working practices, so if you have worked in labs or iterative project environments that would be great. But please still apply if you don't have these additional bits.
