*This is a permanent position* A leading manufacturer are recruiting for a manufacturing engineer to join their team near Bristol. Do you have experience in implementing the principles of lean manufacturing and driving production optimisation? If so, then you may be the engineer we're looking for. You'll be responsible for effective introduction of new products into operations, owning a manufacturing system within your respective cells by the creation, maintenance and development of continuous improvement/ LEAN processes for existing and new products to ensure operations are delivered on time to standard and within budget within the allocated manufacturing cell. To be successful in securing an interview the following skills are required;Basic electrical manufacturing knowledgeLean/ process improvement is crucial - 5s, Kanban, SMED, six sigma, 8D and any other world class manufacturing principlesExperience in optimising production processes You'll be working for an established manufacturer near Bristol.
