Senior Software Developer / Technical Lead (Java 11 Maven Postgres TDD CI/CD AWS). Are you an experienced developer with strong Java skills looking for an opportunity to lead a talented engineering team? As a Senior Software Developer you will lead a team of 4 - 6 Software Engineers to deliver large scale, distributed systems utilising the latest technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend 50% of your time coding as well as making design and architecture decisions. The team has a strong focus on code quality, implementing TDD and continuous deployment, and enjoy learning and applying new technologies to find the best solutions to difficult technical problems. This role would suit a passionate software developer who is looking for an opportunity to progress their career and move into a leadership position.

Based in London, you will be joining a technology driven and collaborative team.

Requirements:

*Strong Java programming skills with experience working across multiple platforms

*Good understanding of TDD and CI/CD

*Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals

*Actively keep up to date with engineering best practice

*Passion for technology and clean code

*Advocate of Agile methodology

*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
