Avanade is looking to hire an IT professional with Microsoft Azure experience for our Infrastructure Consulting team. The role is permanent and based in Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park.

***Please Note: You will be required to be on call (2 weeks on call, 4 weeks off) ***

About the role - Azure Analyst/ Azure Consultant/ Infrastructure Analyst

Working on some of the largest and leading-edge projects, the purpose of the Azure professional is to play an active role in our customers cloud transformation and deployment projects. This will involve delivering throughout the complete project lifecycle including design, build, deployment and transition to service operation teams.

The successful candidate will naturally have a strong foundation in core Microsoft infrastructure technologies, but more specifically they will be able to demonstrate prior experience and expertise in large-scale cloud deployment projects where organisations have deployed Azure based solutions. The key areas and technologies the candidate will show strong experience in some of the areas:

Azure

PowerShell

Python

Terraform

Wintel

Expertise in any of the following areas is also highly desirable

Office 365

Skype for Business inc Voice

Exchange Server

SQL Server

Active Directory

In addition to the technical knowledge and project delivery experience, the successful candidate will ideally come from a customer facing background with project delivery experience. They will have the ability to gather customer requirements and produce high quality written documentation (Word documents, PowerPoint presentations), be a team player actively contributing to knowledge sharing.
