Software Product Owner

One of our top Telecommunications clients is seeking a Software Product Owner to join their expanding teams to meet the demand on new products. This role can be based from either their London or Manchester office.

You will be responsible for leading and communicating the product vision both internally and to directly to clients. Whilst ensuring that the product value is maximised and the objectives meet the business strategy. The product features should address both the current and future customer needs. You will be responsible for the launch and roll out of a brand new software.

The Software Product Owner duties will include, but not limited to:

*Research and analyse the market, assessing any capability gaps and identify future growth opportunities that will add value

*Define and own the product vision, producing the strategic roadmap for its future direction

*Set requirement milestones for stakeholder execution

*Communicate regularly with stakeholders, both internally and externally to the business ensuing all business objectives are being met

*Prepare and deliver product presentations that showcase the software based products capability

*Leading the planning and prioritisation of product features/releases

*Construct and validate the business ROI for each statements of architecture or development work

*Identify any recurring issues or value-add areas

*Conduct the end-to-end Requirement Process

As the Software Product Owner you will be required to possess:

*Previous experience working as a Product Owner (IT or Software based products)

*Proven experience in successfully delivering business projects and management of stakeholders

*Experience working with small to medium sized businesses

*Ability to construct and present a business case

*Experience working within an Agile and SCUM environment previously

*Able to conceptualise a business or technical solution

*Previous experience working within a Business Analyst capacity would be beneficial
