Software Engineer (Python Java JavaScript Cloud AWS Azure). Would you like to take on a technically challenging and high responsibility Software Engineer role within a relaxed and friendly company that offers perks including flexible working, free refreshments and regular social events?

Successful technology company that delivers software services for live sports data analysis and predictions is seeking a Software Engineer to take ownership of building out a backend cloud based platform for desktop and mobile apps. Working alongside an Agile development team, you'll focus on designing, enhancing and scaling the platform utilising technologies such as Python, JavaScript and AWS and will be able to have a large influence on architectural decisions.

You'll be based in a fantastic central London location close to a number of restaurants, bars and shops.

Requirements:

*Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS (ideally), Azure or GCP

*Development background using languages such as Python (ideally), Java, JavaScript or C++

*Experience working with distributed systems

*Experience scaling a system

*Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases

*Strong communication and collaboration skills

*Desirable: Microservices, Docker, C++, interest in sports
