Agresso Systems Accountant/Analyst - North West London - £40K - £50K + benefits/potential work from home element- Global research body This global establishment in the engineering/construction/project consultancy sector are keen to hire experienced Agresso (Unit4) professionals with at least 3-4 year's with the ERP system, good technical and reporting skills, SQL experience and an acute understanding of the Finance and Project functions.Main Responsibilities:Deliver business KPI reports and technical finance reporting, developing reporting tools and databases to support reporting across the business.Own support of Agresso system answering queries raised by Users of the system and resolving issues raised via the IT Service Desk.Own the Agresso system including any system development, design, complex reconfiguration and upgrades.Ensure systems and processes within the Finance function are fit for purpose and meet the broader needs of the business.Proactively drive efficiency within the finance function through process analysis and re-design.Drive standardisation, simplification and efficiency in finance processes through seeking appropriate solutions.Client relationship management with internal colleagues as well as relevant 3rd parties.Partner and consult with senior stakeholders to identify, analyse and deliver finance solutions that drive business benefits.Operate as a team player within the finance team to identify and seek out opportunities for continuous improvement.Provide training to business Users on the Agresso system.Technical Requirements:Demonstrable experience with core finance elements including;Chart of Accounts and Account RulesJournals and GL07 post backsIncome RecognitionUse and maintenance of reporting treesDemonstrable Agresso configuration skills in 4 or more of the following;PurchasingAccounts PayablePCB and SOP InvoicingAccounts ReceivableProjects and Work ordersTimesheets and absenceCore HRTraining and CompetenciesWork flowDemonstrable involvement in at least one Agresso Implementation/upgradeDemonstrable advanced SQL skills. Demonstrable mid-level Excelerator report writing skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft packages, specifically Excel, SQL, T-SQL and PowerPointStrong skills in conducting financial data analysis, assimilation and reporting Non-Technical Requirements:Demonstrable ability to work with little supervisionDemonstrable ability to take ownership of and manage varied task listStrong communication and documentation skillsIn-depth experience of operating within a small but complex finance functionDemonstrable experience of driving change in financial systems and processes to deliver business benefitsDesirable:Experience of using and writing PowerShell script.Experience of Business Continuity, including Disaster Recovery testing.Experience of supporting any of the following applications:Office 365Sharepoint OnlineDynamics CRMKnowledge of accountingExperience of working within a complex organisation with a diverse portfolio of business interestsApplicants are considered on an ongoing basis, so it is important to apply asap..
