My client is looking for an experienced Software Applications Engineer to join their team in Cambridge working on green energy technologies for the home using both IoT devices and Cloud technologies. As as Applications Engineer you will need to have experience in the following areas:

C programming and embedded systemsExperience working in a customer facing environmentExperience or and interest in IoTWireless technologies - Zigbee, WiFi, Bluetooth

You will need to have experience working in a customer facing environment and be an enthusiastic person with personable skills and an eye for detail. Green energy and renewable technologies are fast becoming a focus in the UK with the government set out to make massive changes to the automotive, gas and electric industries by 2030. You will be working on current technologies as well as new and evolving technologies within the renewable energy space so this is a fantastic time to join them.
