Role - Software engineerSalary - upto £45000
Location - Bristol
The ideal candidate will have experience in C# or Java, but candidates with experience in other object-oriented languages will be considered.
Responsibilities:Development and support of our point-of-sale frameworks and toolsDevelopment and support of internal processes relating to different aspects of paymentDevelopment and support of other applications required for the companies proceduresPart of the team that assists our Customer Support desk with escalated customer queries and issue resolution.
Essential Skills:
Understanding of C#, Java or another object-oriented language3 years development in a commercial environmentCommon development environment such as Visual Studio, Eclipse etc.Good communication skills; both written and verbal for dealing with suppliers and project partners
Preferred Skills:
Experience of C#, C++, Java or Objective-C in a commercial environmentAn understanding of networking principles and protocols such as sockets, HTTPS, DNS and SSLKnowledge of SQL
