Network Support Engineer - Aldermaston - £20,000 to £30,000 DOE
 
A market leading organisation based in Aldermaston are looking for a Network Support Engineer to join a rapidly expanding team and to help them grow in the right direction. You will work on a diverse range of projects and be responsible for maintaining the systems that allow organisations to function and communicate, both internally and externally, on a daily basis. Regardless of the type of business, you'll be responsible for designing, installing and maintaining the communications, file sharing and general IT resources used by the organisation.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstalling new softwareInstalling new hardware (servers, printers, computer workstations, etc.)Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwordsOverseeing security of all systems, especially the internet, and installing antivirus protectionFixing network faultsNetwork maintenanceTechnical support for people using the networkTraining staff on new systemsDay to day admin and monitoring of network usePlanning future improvements, suggesting IT solutions to business problemsMaking sure all IT meets industry standardsSkills / Attributes RequiredGood at problem solvingGood at organising and multitaskingAble to explain technical problems in a simple termWork well with peopleA dedication to continually update knowledgeA clear understanding of the employer's particular systemsIn depth knowledge of the four network types (LAN, WAN, MAN and GAN)If you are at all interested please submit your CV and contact me, Tom Dennett, at Evolution.
