You'll already know that our client's bestselling revision guides are carefully written, immaculately presented and dangerously close to being funny " but did you know they put just as much effort into their code?
From a new ecommerce website to a print scheduling tool or online 11+ testing app, they develop all their own software to ensure it meets their exceptionally high standards and does exactly what they want - which is fundamental to their annual sales of over 11 million products.
Who is our client looking for?
If you're a junior developer, or a graduate with a real enthusiasm for software development, our client would love to hear from you. They're open-minded as to your degree " although they think maths, science or computing would work well. Whatever your background, you'll:
- Be open-minded with a desire to learn and develop
- Have a logical mind and be switched on by technology
- Enjoy structure and working with methodologies
- Be self-motivated and driven by high standards
You may not be experienced in C#, SOLID design principles or Agile delivery methods, but if you're the right person for this role and for our client, you'll be keen to research what they are and how they're used in developing business systems. Some iOS and/or Android development experience would also be an advantage. You'll learn and develop with the team and all training will be provided in-house. Then it's up to you to make it work.
