Senior Python Developer, up to £70'000, Cambridge, Exciting start-up developing a unique modern application stack. This is a career opportunity for an experienced Python Developer who can work independently and bring a deep understanding of Python libraries and API design.

As a Senior Python Developer in a skilled engineering team you will take responsibility for implementing a Python version of their current product. You will be expected to solve problems and use initiative to develop ideas into working models. You can expect a rewarding salary and share options within the company as well as being part of a start-up with very bold ambitions and the funds to make them a reality.

Key skills for the Senior Python Developer:

*Excellent Python skills*Experience with Python libraries and API design*Knowledge of concepts such as Networking, multi-threading and memory management is beneficial*Ability to build and debug complex system software*Knowledge of Java and the JVM is very beneficial *Start-up mentality will serve you well

You will be the sole Python Developer at first working in a small team in central Cambridge, you can expect a good work-life balance and there is scope for 1-2 days of remote working if required.
