In this role you will collect numerical information and present results.  Usually this would be in the form of graphs and charts but also in diagrams, tables and reports, but may frequently include cleaning, transforming or modelling the data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes.   You will need to be comfortable communicating your conclusions to key business stakeholders and end users.

Responsibilities

Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide on-going reports

Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Filter and "clean" data, and review reports, and performance indicators to locate area for concern

Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
