Senior SQL DBA is required by prestigious organisation in their state-of-the-art Farnborough offices.

As the Senior SQL DBA, you will be joining the established Application and Database team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation, performance and integrity of the SQL Server database estate. As part of the role you will be supported in the development of your working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, its associated technologies and any other database systems that are required by the business.

You will be passionate about data, be knowledgeable in emerging technologies, which will allow you to play a part in moving the business forward.

Essential Skills for the Senior SQL DBA:Hold or be eligible for SC clearanceStrong knowledge of SQL Server (5+ years)Experience in T-SQLCommercial experience of SQL Server 2008R2 or aboveExperience in SSRSKnowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery ConceptsGenuine interest in BI and emerging technologiesPositive can do attitudeStrong communication skillsPrevious experience of working in an Agile environment
