Insight Data Analysis Officer - Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath
12 months FTC - maternity cover
Full time, 35 hours per week
£29,617.01 per annum (starting salary subject to experience)

Our client is the UK's leading feline welfare charity. They now help around 193,000 cats and kittens through their network of over 250 volunteer-run branches and 36 adoption centres and homing centres.

Our client's Strategic Planning & Insight Team is looking for a dynamic, experienced analyst to join them at their National Cat Centre located in Chelwood Gate near Haywards Heath. While this is a fixed-term role to cover maternity leave, there is scope for the successful candidate to help shape and develop the role during their time with the organisation. This is an exciting time to join the team as they have a full and challenging pipeline of strategic insight projects to deliver for the Executive Management Team and Trustees.

Reporting to the Insight & Data Analysis Manager, you will work with teams from right across the charity to help manage and deliver requests for insight and analysis projects, providing essential insight to help make effective decisions. You will help develop regular and ad hoc reporting processes, extract and interpret data from our client's internal systems and help to conduct and manage internal and external market research projects.

Applicants will need to have at least two years' experience of analysing data and reporting on the results of data analysis. You will be a strong communicator with excellent IT literacy, with the ability to analyse complex data to a high level of accuracy, and to produce reports in a clear and precise format. You must also have very strong organisational and planning skills. You will also have the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people and functions.

Closing date: 02 June 2019
Interview date: 11 June 2019

To reward you, our client has a pay scheme which provides the opportunity to progress within your pay band, subject to satisfactory performance. They also offer a range of benefits which include a generous holiday entitlement, a competitive pension offering, a private medical scheme, and a death in service scheme.

Our client is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
