SENIOR PROJECT PLANNERBristolUpto £50.00/hr6 months Are you a Senior Project Planner who would be interested in being part of the team who support the UK's nuclear submarine fleet? The RoleOur client is charged with the delivery of design and programme support for the entirety of the in-service submarine fleet across all classes of vessels.From feasibility analyse of engineering problems and solutions to fully incorporated design changes, our client supports the entire design lifecycle.They are a key component of ensuring that the nation's nuclear submarines are available and available to defend our national interests. Reporting to the Lead Project Planner and supporting various project teams, we are seeking an excellent Senior Project Planner who will play a key role in the successful delivery of outputs to time, cost & quality targets for the Submarine Support Management Group (SSMG). As such, we are interested in hearing from candidates with excellent project planning experience; preferably with knowledge or experience of working with engineering companies. Formal engineering training or knowledge would be advantageous but is not mandatory. You should have good knowledge of project tools and techniques including P6 or Microsoft Project.Project Management experience or qualifications would be advantageous as the role requires the delivery of documentation to time and budget.Preferably degree qualified (or HND/HNC with relevant experience) you will be committed to continuing your professional development. Security Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements.You must be a sole UK national and hold, or be capable of achieving, 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.The role will be in an environment regulated by Trade Control legislation and involve working with controlled goods, technology and/or services.
