Are you a talented Software Tester looking for a new challenge?My globally renowned client who are based in Aberdeen are looking for ambitious Software Testers to join their team working on a variety of software products. Specifically, you will be joining an existing team of developers who are working on their latest cloud-based web application that is relied upon by some of the worlds most reputable companies. What will your role and responsibilities be? Analyse test requirements, design and build case suites, test scripts, and test proceduresCarry out manual testing of software patches, major releases and Agile development projects, participating in full life cycle Agile development.Execute manual test plans and analyse and report test results to stakeholders.Test desktop and web applications.Manage timescales for other stakeholders and clients What will you need to be considered?Organised, meticulous and systematic with close attention to detailWilling and able to develop knowledge of the wider area of workAble to deal effectively with unexpected situations, taking advantage of opportunities and overcoming problems.Good time management skills and ability to meet targets and fulfil agreementsA strong interest in software testing with a desire to progress and positively influence software development What will be a bonus to have?Automation testing exposureExperience working on cloud-based solutions For more information please contact Experis Edinburgh on 0131 558 4800.
