***This is a permanent position and requires travel***An exciting opportunity has become available with a manufacturing/ business improvement consultancy. The business helps manufacturing companies of all sizes to achieve productivity, efficiency and sustainability improvements as well as to develop and deliver transformative change programs.As Business Consultant, you will be participating in securing and executing integrated projects with focus on improving operations and ultimately profitability of our clients' businesses in a sustainable way. Your daily tasks will include a range of business development, client engagement, project management and technical activities. You will deliver in-company consultancy projects and support to ensure clients gain the increased capability, capacity and confidence to grow.The Person:- Confident outgoing personality and able to engage with people at all levels in a business.- Hand's on manufacturing engineering experience - minimum 5 years- Technical ability to deliver projects in areas such as lean, process improvement, design, project management, leadership or strategy.-Ability to deliver and manage diverse on-site consultancy projects. - Willing to work on client sites in the UK with the possibility of overseas travel. - Degree level or equivalent education. - FMCG or process manufacturing environment experience would be an advantage Salary on offer for the role £50,000 - £65,000 with a company performance based bonus, car, laptop, mobile phone.
