2nd Line Support - 24/7

We have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Support to join a leading IT infrastructure organisation based in Nottingham.

Salary: Up to 30K + Benefits.

The Responsibilities

*Technical support

*Incident and Request Management

*Daily checks ensuring incidents are correctly reported and fixed

*To respond to service calls and resolving incidents on a timely manner to ensure SLA targets are achieved

*Follow escalation procedures

*To increase "First Time" fixes rate

*Assist other team members with technical escalations

The Requirements

*Must have significant experience as a second line support engineer within Windows or Networking or Unix Environments

*Must be eligible for SC Level Security Clearance

*Broad technical knowledge including Wintel or Unix or Mainframe

*Good working knowledge of software packages and operating systems

*Ability to work on own initiative to address and solve incidents

*Ability to resolve incidents in the server environment (e.g. operating system used by customer)

*Excellent communication skills

*Fully flexible to work on a 24/7 shift pattern
