This role is available as the company is expanding.The role.Working to help our clients deliver major UK communications and information systems, you will use your technical knowhow and skills to advise, formulate and de-risk procurement options. You will engage directly with clients, stakeholders and industry to gather information and shape views using technical evidence, analysis and sound judgement.Key Accountabilities.You will be giving clear technical direction to clients in deriving procurement programme scope and identifying key areas of technical activity for reducing programme risk.You will be using technical knowledge and a deep understanding of the secure communications and IT domain to provide authoritative expert advice for formulating and de-risking procurement options.You will be providing insights to clients on technical functionality, performance, risks, assumptions and supply options, and guidance based on sound judgements.You'll be leading the assessment and integration of ideas and advice from other subject matter experts to provide balanced, independent and robust recommendations.You will be providing technical advice to industry programmes of work, and undertaking rigorous reviews of outputs.The Fit.You need to understand the engineering lifecycle.You need to understand the network system architectures.You need previous consultancy experience.To Apply If you're ready to apply, fantastic!
