ShortList Recruitment are on the lookout for a QA Automation Tester to join a rapidly-expanding client based in Warrington.

Our client is an internationally-recognised software house with a rapidly growing customer base, who require a QA Automation Tester to help and support that expansion. The ideal candidate will have a background in manual and automation testing, with the responsibility to define, maintain and execute test cases to maintain a high level of quality.

The successful QA Automation Tester will be a strong team player who wants to thrive in a fast-paced environment and relishes working both individually and as part of a team.

Key skills for the QA Automation Tester:

Automation testing (3+ years)ISTQB certified testerHands on automation experienceExperience in test scenarios, creating test casesAgile development and testing environmentA strong passion and desire to work in testingDesirable skills:

Computer Science/Engineering-based degreeSQLWork with XML/JSONKanban/Scrum agile methodologies

In return, the successful QA Automation Tester will receive a salary of up to £38,000 per annum (DOE) plus an excellent range of benefits. The role is commutable from Birchwood, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, St Helens and Stockport.
