As a leading technology provider, our client uses the latest technologies to manage and maintain their customers IT systems. Operating at the forefront of their industry, they work very closely with a range of schools and colleges, and are now looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer who will be site-based at a school in Beulah Hill, Upper Norwood, London. 

You will have one IT Support Technician reporting to you.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving user support issues as well as administration of the school's network and IT systems.   

To be considered, you will need:  

- Experience in IT support  
- Networking, storage, virtualisation and cybersecurity experience  

Most importantly, it is essential that you are a clear and logical thinker with a quality approach to customer service. As the IT Support Engineer, you should also be a good communicator, ensuring that teaching and support staff at the school are kept up-to-date with the progress of issue resolutions.  

Due to the requirements of this role, the successful candidate must live within a commutable distance of Beulah Hill or be willing to relocate.  

Hands-on support of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft Server, AD and Group Policies would be beneficial, as would experience of supporting virtualised systems. General network, firewall and anti-virus support expertise would also be an advantage.
