An excellent opportunity for a Project Buyer to join an internationally recognised, leading manufacturing company that can offer you a technically interesting and diverse role where you can further train and progress your career.
This company are a market leader in what they do. Designing, manufacturing and commissioning a wide range of products for a variety of industries, they are at the forefront of technology and innovation. Consistently in demand, they are now looking to recruit a Project Buyer to take a pivotal role in the department.
In this role you will be responsible for the purchasing of capital equipment, managing the quotations, pricing, delivery and issuing contracts. You will also be involved in supporting global procurement in the on time performance of suppliers and sub contract manufactures.
The ideal candidate will come from a project purchasing environment with experience of sourcing capital equipment. Ideally you will be CIPS qualified, although this is not essential.

The Role:
*Manage the pricing, delivery and contracts of Capital equipment
*Dealing with different department on a wide range of projects
*On time performance of supply chain and sub contract manufacturers
The Person:
*Project purchasing background
*Experience of sourcing capital equipment
*Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
*Ideally hold a CIPS qualification
